	In the spring of 2005, we at Klear Kustoms were fortunate to receive a phone call and drive to Woodbridge, Ontario to look at a 2002 Ford Explorer that needed to be painted. To our surprise when we arrived at the customers location it did not take long to notice that we were dealing with a full blown custom job that was unseen and unheard of in Canada. We were overwhelmed and excited to have been chosen to work on the project. Shortly after the SUV was delivered at our location at 16 Stafford Drive in Brampton. We started to prepare the inside and outside panels to be painted and airbrushed. Laying down three coats of original Ford blue and two coats of clear, the SUV was then wet sanded and the batman theme was airbrushed on the inside and outside. Once the artwork was completed we proceeded to lay down four more coats of clear, staying true to DuPont's paint system, to bring out the depth and luster of the artwork applied. Well, our job did not stop here, we had to design and fabricate a set of brackets to accommodate a new set of side skirts to give the SUV a lower and racier look. Jeff and Reuben picked up the SUV and delivered it to the audio shop to have an amazing array of audio and video equipment installed, capable of shocking and awing anyone in the show circuit and thus begun the adventure of showing the SUV in North America, winning trophy after trophy. In the spring of 2006, we started once again working on the SUV, the decision was made to have the wheel wells smoothed, painted and airbrushed to compliment the rest of the vehicle. We motorized the front hood and installed a stainless steel insert under the hood with the title "Project Gotham" CNC cut into it with blue neon lighting to match the SUV's engine bay. The engine cover was also painted and airbrushed. A few months later we started working on the undercarriage, by removing all of the suspension's components to have them chrome plated. The parts that could not be plated we used a Mirra chrome paint from Alsa Corp, to allow a chrome reflection of 95-98%. We also customized an aluminum checkered plate and attached it to the undercarriage of the SUV for a cleaner look showing through the exhaust system. After placing first at a Funkmaster Flex event in the U.S. Jeff and Reuben asked us to paint and airbrush the custom built enclosures that fill in the void were the factory spare tire once belonged and modified the exhaust to accommodate the enclosures.
